Welcome to The Noyes Family Website.  My name is Krista Draper and with the help of  my late Great-Aunt Franny, I was able to put this all together.  I have always had an  interest in history, the thirst to learn about the past and how it has shaped the  world we live in today.  What better way to quinch that thirst than to find out about  where my family came from.  I always thought that we were your average American  family, but boy, was I wrong!  We came from some amazing, talented, influential,  famous and you can't forget different people.  We are definitaly an eclectic mix.  I  could go on and on and write down everything but that would be wrong.  I will tell  you a few things, I just can't help myself!  We are distantly related to British  royalty, former and current presidents. We helped found Yale, one of us was a "Fire  and Brimstone" preacher at the Salem Witch Trials, another, John Humphrey Noyes,  founded a commune in the 1800s (PARENTAL ADVISORY ON HIS STORY), which later became  Oneida, Inc.  We were, and are, patriots, soldiers, sheriffs, police offices,  reverends, scholars, authors, doctors, nurses, politicians, businessmen, fathers,  mothers, sons and daughters.
